What kinda v6 ya buying. Mine is only 450 a month! O yeah and it's mine too! Look into any financial book and you will find leasing is a car is one of the dumbest things to waste money. Go ahead, look it up, ill wait!!!

I think if you have the money to toss around and want a new car every three years, then go for it.

I was fortunate enough to save my$ and bought my Mustang out right.

Just my 2¢

I got my vert for $26,549 ($28,720 sticker / $26,849 invoice)
I received $2800 in rebates so net cost was $23,749

Lease:
Total price: $23,749 (tax & license included in lease payments)
$3000 drive off included cap reduction, security, tax, license and first months payment leaving 35 monthly payments of $298.99
3 year total: $13,464
Equity: $0
Total cost: $13,464

Buy:
Total price: $25,926 (includes tax & license)
$3000 down payment leaving 60 monthly payments of $442.14 (5.9% special rate from Ford)
3 year total: $18,917
Equity: $15325 (NADA trade-in w/30,000 miles) - $9991 (principal owed) = $5334
Total cost: $13,583

I'll take the $142 in my pocket each month, thank-you.

Id rather buy a car than renting a car for 3 years. Nothing to show for it But seriously look up anything on leasing a car, it will pretty much explain it.

You could even make a poll here and that would pretty much explain it too!!!

I don't need nostinking poll to tell me what I already know. The numbers speak for themselves, 'nuff said.

To each his own...

The point you miss Martinis when all said and done it's not yours. You will spend $13,464 and gain nothing. As long as you are happy with that, then that's all that matters.

No - I get the point - that is the exact point I made in my first post! I don't want the car at the end of the lease - I want another new car.

It's really very simple - if you want to keep a car for longer than the lease term then buy it! If you want a new car everythree years or so then a lease is for you.

That was my first point about tossing money around.

My oldest brother used to lease cars for years until I got him to understand that he was just throwing $$ away.
He just bought a new Acura.
