RE: Buying Duel exhaust soon. What are some good pipes?
Where's a good place to buy H pipes setup for GT mufflers? Also if I went with X pipes from mustangstuff.com would I need to buy any clamps anywhere else or would all I need is the x pipe kit and the GT takeoffs?

pypes makes good stuff. dont take your cats out. you'll lose backpressure (torque)and probably gain nothing. theyre the same ones on taht are on the GT, so they flow plenty well. 300cfm each. oh yeah. if you take them out your car will sound like ****. seriously its not worth it. you wont see anything more than if you would just go duals. 3hp (if that) translates into nothing. you could "gain" 3 effective HP by dropping 30lbs out of your car. for every ten pounds you lose you "gain" 1 hp. that why lighter cars with less hpmay run better track times than a 4000lb monster with 500 hp. that why my scrawny little six cankeep up on my cousin's SRT10 Dodge ram. and he's laying down 500 at the wheels. ive got a 2k pound advantage. ya dig?

I am looking for power gain before sound. Any suggestions? Oh ya, I don't want a catalytic converter, don't need it in my area.

Good idea.
Take your time.
Watch lots of videos.
It was about 2 months worth of listening to choose the Pypes setup.
Very pleased with it.
