I am looking for power gain before sound. Any suggestions? Oh ya, I don't want a catalytic converter, don't need it in my area.

it's for emissions. but it restrics airflow, in turn robbing power

Ive got Corsa. Are you going with an H-pipe or X-pipe? I have a link in my sig to a clip I made, not the best but its ok.

what are the benifits of H and X pipes?

H pipe = more power (mainly torqe) low in the rpm range.
= deeper tone.

X pipe = more power (hp) higher up in the rpm range.
= higher pitched tone.... nore raspy.

That is only on a GT, ont he V6's there is next to no difference in H/X on a V6. There is a slight change in exhaust tone between the two, and Ford uses an X on their own V6 exhaust kit.

I went with the x pipe....like ODDYSEY said above, Ford uses that set up as well.

A little more sound but it will never sound like a V8. if you are looking just for power benefits, I believe if you search through these forums you will find that going with headers, x pipe, off road pipe (no cats) vs just an axle back might give you 2 maybe 3whp more at most but you spend time and $$$$. There just isn't any benefit unless you are going supercharger.

if you just want the look of duals,then look up the Pypes tru duals as they seem to be priced well
