RE: finally!
on a v6 there isn't a heck of a lot of difference whether you get the polished tube, a plastic tube or use the stock rubber. It's an appearance preference and how much $$$ is that worth to you.
You can get combos for I believe around $450 or as much as over $600. The quickest thing for you is a GT take off axle back for around $50 and you get torque, mpg and some ponies
do a search up above on tuners and you will see the usual supsects.

It dependson what you want. If you have an automatic, (I have a manual) I would suggest a C&L CAI with an XCal III from B.A.M.A chips with the 87, 91, and 93 PERFORMANCE or TORQUE tunes with the same octane ratings. You could always go with a drop in K&N air filter (will save you $100's) if you are looking for increased air flow but don't want the 20+ RWHP that a CAI and tuner will provide. CAI and XCAL III with tunes will cost you $600.00 from B.A.M.A.....money well spent IMO. On an automatic, the tunes have a reputation of being more noticeable than on a manual....but I'm happy with my pony's performance. You can get a CAI with tunes cheaper from other places with the same results ....I'm just posting what I KNOW first hand.
