i got a tire shop about 5 mion away that sells great used tires with about 60 to 80% life on them for 10 bucks!
just got the brand new BFGoodrich tire with the weird looking tread for 10 bucks a pop!!

Automatic, just hold both the brake and the gas till the tires break and hold the break till your satisfied with your smoke!
Don't forget to turn off traction control if you have it!!!!

I peeled out next to a cop car this morning, interestingly he didn't turn around and pull me over. Was an accident but still, easy way to get a cop's attention

be carefull with burnouts - you put alot of undue stress on the car. another thing, if it's a manual WATCH YOUR RPMs!!! you can seriouslyf up your engine.

rev limiters do there job...you can take it well into the high 6k number without harm....rev limiter is set @ 6250 for the 8s...not sure about yours but it wouldnt be much different

I've gotten almost that high without even doing a burnout-just from high-acceleration. I wouldn't worry too much about the engine because of the limiter and the fact that unless you're boosted, these engines can take quite a pounding...while they're new anyway. I'd be more concerned about the transmission and brakes than anything, especially if you're brake torquing it.
