I'm not even sure how to find a "good" shop... This is so frustrating.

Do you have a Midas around anywhere?

Tubra, try doing a Google search for Mustang Performance Shops in your area or Auto Performance Shops. I did in my area and found 5 shops nearby that specialize in Mustangs.

My mufflers are still touching my bumper, and these jerks are now telling me it's my midpipes, and they can't help me out. They said they would only work w/ their h-pipe. Unbelievable.

Mine did the same thing when I first got them on and melted some of my bump. All you have to do is go to a exhaust shop and they will bend them for like 30 bucks and you will be fine. If it rattles tell them to fix that too. Don't worry its not the end of the world!!!

Since they had them to high up and it melted the one side of your bumper. I would demand them to replace the bumper, or demand them a refund so you can go else where to get a new bumper put on, since they screwed up.

it may sound harsh but, take a shovel handel and put it in the mufler then gently push down a bit. it may move the tips away just a bit. thats another reason why i like my duals not welded but clamped. i actually had my tank repaired a week ago and the guy at ford didnt have them strait. but since the tsb is actually for a single exaust and not duals i just losend the clamps and fixed it myself.

They won't give you a refund and they won't replace your bumper. Just look what I told you above and do that. They way I see anything wrong with my car, is that it;slike a small dent or something like your problem, it is character

I put a single GT takeoff on my stang, and after one day of driving the tip moved up and was resting on the bumper, it melted a piece of the paint away. I took it to a local midas and they bent my pipe down so it looked perfect, and charged me 1/2 hour of labor($37.50). they were great, I talked to them for an hour cause they had 2 65 mustangs they were putting new brakes on in the shop and they let me check them out.

I just found the shop that is putting on my duals in the spring
