Default car shut off

earlier today for no apparent reason my car just turned off while i was driving around a parking lot. i did just get gas earlier that morning so that might have done it. my rpms seemed a little low aswell, about 500-1k at idle. i do have my axleback off, could this have any negative effects on the car...thanks ahead of time

didn't throw any codes? failsafe engine mode? Did it shut off right away or dip up and down irratically on the RPM's first?

lol no my conclusion wouldbe to go to the dealer....i havenot heard of auto or any new stangs just shutting off.....it could be the fuel pump...there was a tsb about the ones on some 05 and 06 ponies.....my car happened to fallunder that....it would chug after long trips while at idle.....check your fuel pump and go to the dealer and see your vin falls under the tsb....the tsb is located somewhere on this site....
