I'm confused...the GTA's aren't the same mufflers that come in the FRPP dual kit are they? Cuz that dual kit is made for the V6 whereas those GTA's are advertised for GT's and GT500's...

when you buy the GTAs as by themself its listed for GT/shelby GT because they are the mustangs that come with dual exhaust stock, the V6's dont so they arent advertised as for being for the 4.0...then ford made that dual kit for the V6's out there and decided that theyw ould be the axleback of choice

go to the frpp site and look at the kit isntall instructions it has a link to..you'll see the muffler model number, then go look at you basic GTA axelbacks listed for GT/shelby it will match, same thing, M-5230-GTA

The FRPP dual exhaust kit is part number M5230V6, lists for $665.00 and contains "everything" you need. I have seen them online for $542.00.

I assume the FRPP kit fits if you have the GT rear bumper?

I don't see why it wouldn't.

Well, I was figuring since it is designed to be used with a V6 bumper with a cutout, maybe the GT bumper (which wraps around the exhaust a bit) might be a tight fit, or not fit at all.

There are plenty of GTs with the GTA mufflers. I don't how/why the spacing between the mufflers would be different, which is the only reason why they would not fit the GT bumper. 4 inch tips certainly will fit a GT bumper... in fact.. from what I have seen... the bigger tips fill the holes nicely... 3-4 inch tips look cleaner than the stock tips.
