Ya know I understand our motors are the same that was/is used in Explorer Sports Trek, but come on......this is a MUSTANG, it would look out of place pulling a trailer.

It just seems wrong to pull something w/ a Mustang...I've seen it once before and thought "Wtf is that guy thinking?" [8D]

I can name 100 reasons not to pull anything with a mustang, and probably only name 1 or 2 reason you would do that.

I would strongly recommend not putting a hitch and attempting to pull a trailer, as it was not designed to be a work horse, only a show pony

I saw a Corvette puling a boat once. That looks more stupid than a Mustang puling a trailer (IMHO).

Never seen it done. You need a hitch which are available and we can pull the recommended 1000#. Read the owner's manual for trailer pulling info.

yeah, i know it isnt really the thing to do with a mustang.. but its my only vehicle right now, and it'd be real nice to be able to haul some metal, a mower.. little things up and down the road.
thanks for that link, optras.

It's not like the car doesn't have the torque to pull a trailer. Some people have to use their pony for more than show. I wont laugh at someone hauling anything. We DID buy these cars because they are functional AND stylish.

I think it's a swell idea! I can't seem to find a towing wiring harness out there for 05+ or I would've already installed one, or at least have one to put on when I need it and take it off when I don't. I would sure beat having to borrow someone's truck to move awkward items. I'm not talking about dragging landscaping equipment around with it, but I ran into this just the other day trying to buy a new mattress. Puta blue oval plug on it when not using it... or take it completely off.
