I think Vapor's been around for a while. As far as I know, there are no new colors for the '08 Mustangs. The colors available this year were all available a year ago too.

nope......vapor is a new 08 color along with candy apple red and silver metallic. there's no doubt about that. if yours is an 07, there's no way its vapor. so the dealer must have told you wrong.

Either its vapor and it's an '08 or it's an '07 and its tungsten.

Darn, now I'm confused about the color of the car I just bought. I swear I remember looking at a sticker on the window that said it was Vapor, but it wasn't the regular window sticker you find on new cars. I know it's an '07 because it says so right on the panel that you find on the inside of the body in the door.

Anyway, is there a color code I can look for on the panel that tells me the exact color of the car? I need to know because I want to get the flush-mounted louvers from SilverHorse and they need to be color matched. So much for me being the informed buyer...

Yeah, it's an automatic. I don't even think they sell cars in Los Angeles with manuals because of the traffic.

Anyway, I've already done my first mod, if you want to call it that. I switched the stock antenna for a 14-inch shorty. Iactually ordered the antenna a week ago before I evenbought the car. Bought it from American Muscle. Yeah, I'm getting started on the modding as soon as possible. Next purchase will beflush-mounted louvers from SilverHorse, then I'm switching stock exhaust for Flowmaster American Thunder single. There's definitely more stuff later, but that's the list fornow. A window tint, CAI/tune, and new spoiler will come eventually.
