all that and only 12hp.....i find that hard to believe.....now may car has never been on a dyno, but im pretty sure my magnaflow duals are suposed to give a 10-15 hp boost.....at least thats my uinderstanding....as for warranty stuff....exhuast will not void your warranty as long as its from the cats back......tune cai etc will ...i have been advised that wheni go this route...to savemy stock air box and tune .....rightnow all i got is exhaust and im pretty sure im getting the same as what you were quoted...

if your concerned about your warrnaty as i was, do the exhaust

wait for lowwering cai tune etc till the car is paid off and the extended warranty ends....i have one too....i dont want to void it...

o im not worried about the exhaust i already have a reverse y pipe dual flow 40's installed, im just worried about the cai/tune since thats the powertrain warranty i believe. thanks for all the concern comments about alternative routes but is there any cheaper place where i can get these parts ? i have my mind pretty set on them

what a waste of money, if your so worried about warrenty then fine, but dont waste your money on that crap, if they only claim 12hp then their tune is very weak, either get the CAI/Tune combo from one of the site sponsers for $600 that gives way more HP gains, or dont bother, just my opinion

Hi Jay, sounds like you're gonna pay a lot of money for little horsepower. Try what I did, the results were incredible! I put a Brenspeed87 octane tune in my car's computer, put on a C&L CAI system, put on a set of 9 mil JBA plug wires, installed a set of Motorcraft iridium spark plugs, installed a set Stainless Works long tube headers and complete 2 1/2 inch exhaust system with no mufflers, and 4.10 gears and T-Lok. The car's now laying down 1005 horsepower at the rear wheels. Good luck with your mods, Jack.

I was at the dealership here in Marion Ohio on Monday and picked up the new Brochure on the 2008 Mustangs and seen the CAI and went to the parts dept and asked how much and got a price quote for just the CAI and Tune for $450 I think and $80 to put it on and tune it.This was for the V6

1005 HP?!?! Who are you kidding. As for the FRPP V6 Power Package,forget it. Call vmptuning(321-206-9369)and ask Justinabout his 4.0 V6 Power Package which contains an Xcal2 or 3 w/3 vmp custom tunes,a vmp cai and a GT muffler for $599.00. 25HP! I run this setup and the results are great. Can't go wrong with vmptuning,Justin knows his stuff.
