Hi, well I'm new here, I just bought a 2008 V6. Im a girl I know just a little about cars. Still I worked very hard to buy it, and here I am. I was thinking about making some mods, nothing big, I don't want my car to look very girly, but i don't want to scare the boys with a car that looks like they car they want and they don't have. I just want some exterior mods...stripes, flowmasters.. I will accept any comments.. I'm 18 and just waiting to hit the streets with the car I always dreamed of. My stang is an apple red. I love the color and i don't want to change it.

odyssey, what made you decide on brenspeed's tunes?
Been reading alot of feedback on the forums and narrowed it down to Brenspeed or B ama.

What through me over the edge was a friend here locally (MF name d4rb) has the Brenspeed tune and told me to go for it because he loves his.

Out of all the posts I have read, I have yet to see a bad review of Brenspeed.
you should talk to MN moose, he's had both brenspeed and b@m@

Oddysey maybe you should get 4.10 instead of 3.73

It's been a big topic of discussion and much deliberation on 4.10's & 3.73, I do alot of highway driving and i think it would just be better to have 3.73's to drop those rpm's down at higher speeds.

[sm=funnypostabove.gif]. You hornypervert! LMAO.

Odyssey stay with the 3.73's. The gains from 4.10's to 3.73's aren't much(maybe a tenth) and your mileage is more important.

Summer Pony check out exhaust sounds in the exhaust thread at the top of the drivetrain section. Pick a muffler you like and I'd say install/have that installed on your car. $50-$250 for 8-10hp and nicer sounding car.

T-Loc good Idea looking to do the same for my Stang

The 4.10:1 Ring Gear & Pinion is a good match for the AOD/AODE & 4R70W automatic transmissions and the 3.73:1 Ring Gear & Pinion set is more suitable for the T-5 manual transmission.

3.73:1 Ring Gear and Pinion set is a better choice for the automatic transmission if a supercharger is planned for the future.

Good Congratulations on the new car and when I was 19 (33 years ago) my girlfriend had one of the hottest Chevy’s around the guys you scare off are not worth having around anyway so Mod her out your way Most people here will tell you to Put a nice set of rims and tires on it first but if it has that now one of most stand out mods might be a set of rear side window louvers or scoops or a hood scoop. Look at all the fine Stangs here and pick out what you like best and GO for it just watch out the MOD bug is hard on the wallet and as addictive a Crack. Good Luck and Post a Picture of your Car WE WANT TO SEE IT.
