My first trip in the stang

My first trip in the stang
so this weekend i was really bored and wanted to do something special with my girlfriend. Out of seeing all my options i decided, hey why not take a road trip? so i live in el paso tx, and decided to take her to white sands new mexico. it was about an hour and a half trip. In this trip i found a lot of positive things about my car and just some negative things. First of all i was amazed of our trunk space. i put two folded chairs, a bbq grill, big kingsford charcoal bag, an ice cooler, and still had plenty of room to put a sled there. The gas mileage was ok. i drove 220 miles at speeds of 70-80mph and used up 3/4 of a tank of gas. I think it would have gotten more but i also went through some uphill roads. The drivers seat was really comfortable considering im 6"2" and i was saddled in comfortably. ride quality was superb and so was road noise. The only thing that was bothering was my exhaust. I love it when i drive in the city but hearing it hum for a long time tends to make it annoying. I also noticed that at night the visibility i got from my headlights was a little low but not bad. over all it was a fun trip

RE: My first trip in the stang
thats accurate with my experiences. i took my stang out to vegas from LA this weekend myself. drive was smooth as can be but i did get the exhaust hum. not as bad as a full on drone but enough to notice. it was mostly only during climbs though. other than that, it ran like a champ. for the record, the distance is about 320miles one way and i got about 25mpg's doing about 75-80mph while running bamma's 91 torq tune.
