I'm considering getting my car dyno tuned, but will a dyno tune make a significant difference over my bama race tune? And how much am i expecting to pay? I'm in Northern Cali, and I think I heard some prices could be around $100 or so, give or take. Does this sound about right? I plan on getting the X-Charger in the future 2-3 years down the line (after college..) if the intercooler comes out good. Should I just wait til then to get a dyno tune and just stick it out with the bama tune? Or is it a must and I should go for it now? Thanks for the inputs in advanced.

My 2 cents...save your money for the X, get that dyno-tuned. Don't think you'll see much for gains over the bama race tune if you get a dyno tune now. Plus I would be surprised if you could get a dyno tune for 100...not worth it IMO, the bama tune is pretty darn good as is.

No way you'll find a dyno tune for $100, probably 3x that amount. Doug does a real good job with tunes for our car. My custom dyno tune netted me an additional 5 hp.
