is it worth it? a friend of mine is selling his for 45 bucks, perfect cond, red, is it worth it?

From what everyone has been saying on here its not worth it. From what I believe that only helped out on older style cars.

$45 is expensive for a paperweight, u can usually get those for a couple bucks.

I'm one of those unfortunate suckers. No it is not worth it!!!!! I actully saw better mpg after taking it off, and the car seems to be a little peppier too since the removal

The weight it adds negates any HP gain. ;)
It might look good but to those that know, it does not.

depends on how you look at it: if performance is what you seek out of it, its either nonexistent or absolutely unoticeable. If you simply want to dress up a bit under the hood and add a sparkle of red then $45 MIGHT be justified. I have one in my ranger and I personally would never get another one again. i guess the red spacer in my truck isnt soo bad since its matches the body's color;).......SAVE YOUR MONEY!
