K&N filter CAI???

Default K&N filter CAI???

I have seen the vmp ,Ibelieve it is, and x-cal tuner on v6mustangstuff for like $480... my question being isnt that just a filter and does it go back into stock air box? wouldnt just a K&n filter over the MAF do the same thing and be cheaper?? just wondering thnx in advanced

No, its a new vmp MAF and an S&B conical shaped filter. You do not use the old air box. You also get a bracket that fits in place of the air box to hold the new filter in place. I used a long zip-tye around the filter and bracket to lock things in place. Justin at vmp says this works just as good as more expensive cai's. This is a great set-up. Get a performance muffler and you are all set. Makes a new car out of your V6 Mustang(especially automatics).
