Default Changing out a tail light

So I've noticed my left blinker clicks twice as fast as normal. I know it means I have a burnt bulb. So I turned on my lights and looked at all my lights on the left, front and back. They all worked. Then I thought for a second. I got my girlfriend to come outside and look while I press the brake and sure enough one of the back brake lights don't work. So I guess my question is: Is it hard to change out the bulb on the left rear? Its the one farthest to the outside. Also can I just pick up that bulb at an auto parts store?

You will have to remove the plastic cover in the trunk. Easy. You will have to remove the entire tail light housing. Easy. The bulb part# is proprietary to Ford and 1 bulb will cost you about $10 at the dealer. You can get a 2 pack of the equivalent bulb @ Autozone for about $4. Remove the plastic trim in the trunk, figure out what nut driver u need to remove the housing and go to autozone.

^^^
Like RLS (doesnt stand for "restless leg syndrome" does it? lol) said, just pop off that back plastic thing on the inside of the trunk (they have those little screw heads you have to lift the middle off before it will pop out). Once that is off, you can pry back the carpet and see the tail lights from the back.

This would be a great time to go sequential if you don't have them already. (I assume you havent since you asked how to change the tail lights.)

Good luck. (its easy)
