Incorrect. H-pipe is a loss in low end torque. (supposedly) X-pipe is a gain in high end power. (supposedly).

But it all comes down to H-pipe as a slightly (slightly) lower tone.

Thanks for the clarificatio.n, and I know there aren't major performance gains from exhaust upgrades anyways. I just like higher torque and better launches than high end power since I wont be racing or taking it to the strip. That's why a gear upgrade is lookin mighty enticing...but I might just get the FRPP dual exhaust kit in the end.

I know several of us went with an x-pipe just because Ford used it in the FRPP kit. We figure if Ford goes with an x-pipe, then we should too

i run GTA's with the JBA H pipe, felt no power loss at all

haha, I went with a GT takeoff H pipe which I got from a fellow MFer closeby.. With the H and the GTAs I havent felt any power loss at all either.. just a nice rumble!
