What pipes before my mufflers will lower the exhaust note?

What pipes before my mufflers will lower the exhaust note?

I have a v6 with a reverse y pipe and GT mid-pipes, and I want to lower the exhaust note but i like the way the mufflers sound, i just want them to be deeper. Which type of plumbing would do the trick?

Headers, H pipe.

I think the "H" sounds best. (with GT mufflers) . Just my humble opinion folks.

I wanted to do the same thing for mine, after I got duals (although mine are straight pipes). I added a couple of glass packs, and now it sounds awesome. Sounds great outside, and sounds AMAZING on the inside!
