Maybe its not the cars fault but the "tech" at the dealership you are working with.
Go to another dealership and let them have a crack at it. I would not have gone
back the third time to that dealership after the second badexperience.

Where exactly is it leaking? The pan gasket? Front or rear main seals? Oil coming out of the K frame after oil from the filter change spewed all in there?

i guess most of you cats are from more urban areas, but in metro IA, one there are a few ford dealers...one is pretty good - no problems with them, but they're busy all of the time because of it. another, which is only 2 miles frommy house - now they suck. got my new mustang, and it wouldn't start when you turned the key - had to jump it basically all the time - they SOLD it to me like this saying it was the security system's fault but that it should be fixed and i should have no problems with it...after a day of that crap, i took a battery out of one of my other cars and had no problems at all, so the factory battery was bad. called up the dealership "oh, well we can't just replace your battery, you'd have to leave it here at least a couple days..." yeah right, so i drove the 40 miles to the small lil "hick" town i'm from originally, and they did it in 15 minutes, no big deal....

i wouldnt be bragging about picking up a 2004... I had one, and although I think the car looks cool from the outside, it looks like a ford escort in the inside, i mean like a grocery getter, nothing cool at all. I traded that thing as soon as I could. It isnt all about being fast, the car must look fast too.... and the 2004 looks like a 9,000 dollar car from the factory.
