i work at a racetrack here in jupiter florida. im the race instructor for karting and autox...i meant to say roadcourse, not highway! i just cant believe how diff the car is now!!!

I'd like to echo that statement. These cars are relatively quick, and it's easy to get into trouble on the street. If you haven't gone to the track yet, I HIGHLY recommend that you go. It's addictive, fun, and much safer than 100+mph shake downs on the street.

Let's not get too serious about this. The V6 versus GT debate is old and tiring. I've beaten a stock S197 GT at the track by 2/10ths, but that's cuz he couldn't drive. Yet I know that my 14.4's are not quicker than most S197 GT's. Bolt-on 4.0L's are closer to older stock GT's, which could have been the reference he was making.
