screw in center console

Default screw in center console

My gf just picked up a new mustang from the dealer. there was a plastic screw just sitting in the center console. any idea what this could be to?

haha i guess i open the up to pick on me. i was just wondering why the hell they left a plastic screw in there. and wanted to know what it could be for?

its likely a replacement screw or something like that...what i would do i look around the interior of the car and see if there are any similar ones and if any are missing......it could also go to the plastic trunk liner.....look around on your car youll find a screw like it....

Of course not because like you would need to answer this question we....... NEED MORE INFORMATION!!!!!!

Can you take a picture or at least discribe it a little more?

The Key Here Being That It Was NEW.
This is a known fact that when assembling the vehicle some worker dropped
the fastener and instead of looking for it and wasting time, just got another one
and went on his way.
Isay lots of this at the dealers when I was looking to buy.
