If you're looking at eventually getting 400rwhp, suspension isa great thought to start. Definitely lower the car, you don't have to drop it, but at least an 1" will give you noticeably better handling! Then a panhard rod (if you lower it). 18" wheels and at least 245/45 size tires would be good to have, better handling and fills out. A K-member brace and torque limiters would be good, though they aren't really suspension related but good for increase hp. Gears are good, you don't need to go all the way to 4.10s. I think 3.73s are perfect. Also, biggest thing is the rear end you want to swap out for an 8.8. Maybe one from newtakeoff.com from a GT: 8.8 rear-end w/ t-lock and ABS and the 3.73 gears for like $875 I think it is now. You'll also want to upgrade to a new lighter driveshaft, maybe aluminum

thanks mustangsally... good info... im planning on getting the 8.8 with 3.73s and the Aluminum D/s... what does a k member brace do and a torque limiter? ... and with lowering the 1" will something like eibach sportlines work?
