Getting the doggone tape is a nightmare. I use goo gone, WD40 and everything else I could think off that would not damage the paint. I combo of all of the above worked, but my fingers were killing me. As for the holes, I went to autozone and got me some plastic plugs. The spolier I got only covered two of the four holes, so I used the plasitc plus thingys with black silicone and presto. The only thing I had to do to the plus was sand the top a bit to make it flatter so that it would interfer less with the bottom of the spoiler.

Use regula ol painters masking tape and apply it
on the INSIDE of the trunk. The outside looks totally
OEM except the 4 tiny holes and blue tape seen underneith.
Or the pennies and silicone....... [:@][:'(][][X(][>:][:-][:@][&:][&o][:@][:'(][X(][:-][:-][][>:]

I bought some adhesive remover in a can and it worked great. As for the plugs, there called plastic push pins, they come in different sizes, and I picked them up at Ford for like $1.50 a piece. They should also give you a strip of this long black silicone strip and you wrap some around the push pin when you plug the hole, so as to prevent it from leaking. This should do it for ya!
