Hey guys I just traded my hoodscoop.....
For this. Its the box, subwoofer (infiniti)and amp. I heard it and it sounded prettygood. I jsut havent hooked it up yet. Ill get it all in tomorrow.

Last time I checked you can't get a custom fit sub box, a sub, and an amp for less than 250.. which would essentially be what a new hood scoop would cost.

I can't see why the person who you traded with didn't just buy a brand new one..lol

no. bolted onto the hood with 4 bolts and probably some 3M tape too. Completely asthetic.

Yes it was a good trade, the factory hood scoop is useless and stupid.

cool. I took that picture about a week ago. I just laid it on top of the hood and took pics to see what it would look like. I guess the guyreally liked the hood scoop....Oh yea I did just a little cash on top of it. I thought it was a good deal. Glad I did it. Ill put it in when I have more time. Ill probably need the help of some of you audio guys. About a year a go I sold my 12" W6 JL sub, amp and box. I had it all professionally installed. I dotn know much about that stuff.....but I do like my music. I still have all the wires still installed in the car....It just needs to be hooked up to the sub and amp. Ill post more pics of everything and just need to know what hooks up where. I would appreciate it.

I admit, the hood scoops do look alright but if it isn't functional in some way, I don't really want it on my car (most of those things anyhow). Great for the people that like them, but I personally would feel weird driving around with a scoop on my hood knowing it's just plastic with tape. DON'T HATE ME! /opinion

As far as the equipment you got for it, you came out on top big time and even more so since it will actually do what it looks like it should. :P

Nope. I think most people would see your car driving by and see that the hood scoop adds to the classic look to the car. Im sure most people would not even care about subwoofers. My car looks 100% better with the scoop.
