Default Anybody running the FRPP CAI/tune?

I know it doesn't give the same hp gains as some of the others, but my parents would be POed if they ever found out I was playing with the computer with anything other than a Ford certified part. I know the other ones are harmless, but I'm looking for honest opinions from those who have this setup.

I have an auto, how are the shiftpoints?

Noticeable gains?

What else do you like/don't like?

Thanks guys

Sounds like youshould be our guinea pig! Get it and tell us about it. I would've purchased it no questions asked if it were available before I got the C&L and xcal2. Now, I don't know. I don't know if it allows you to go back to stock, or 87 octane if you wanted/needed to.

I have the C&L intake w/ the XCAL2. I looked at the FRPP CAI but the biggest drawback is that you can change the tune. You don't get a tuner w/ the package. You get a voucher to get the tune from a FRPP dealer. Which means you can't swap tunes when you want to. And the FRPP tune requires you to run premium fuel only. For an extra $100 you can get a C&L intake plus you own tuner AND 3 tunes that are swappable. To me thats a much better deal.

don't think its worth it unless you are looking down the road for resale/trade-in value.
