L/T Header question

RE: L/T Header question
Lane, I just got an email from Stainless Works a few minutes ago with the invoice attached for shall we say phase 1 of the shipping. It's for the headers, lead pipes (inplace of cats), and elbow pipes (that bend & connect into the x-pipe). Total cost $971.94 (includes shipping from Ohio here to Sarasota, FL). Phase 2 will be the x-pipe, and all the tubes back to the rear bumper. I'm not installing any mufflers, it's gonna be all straight through. Should get to the actual install in about a month or so. I guess I'll put the JBA ceramic coated shorites up for sale on here when I get that system off the car. Take care, Jack.

RE: L/T Header question
Lane, I live in Sarasota, FL. Here's a photo of the JBA headers I currently have on the car. I'll give you a shout when I've got them off. Jack

RE: L/T Header question
I planned on keeping my stock cats also. But what can you do, i guess i will have to wait a little while longer. Is it necessary to run F/I that wasn't on my list of mods. What kind of problems could i run into without it.

RE: L/T Header question
Duane, why not just run a set of good JBA shorty headers and use the stock cats, then get yourself an Ford Racing dual exhaust system for about $600. This would be a really nice setup and not break the bank like I'm doing with the Stainless Works setup, Jack.
