Default $10K dealer markup!

So I stop at my dealer to pick up some touch-up paint for my car, and see they have a BULLITT on the lot. I stroll over to and spy the inside, check out the exhaust,wheels....
and then I get to the sticker, the official sticker said $32,180... then there was an extra page to the left, Model Availibilty Markup or something like that... $10,000!!!
I couldn't believe it, the Shelby GT that was there last month was that much without any mark up other than Shelby's. I think it's just plainwrong.
Grand total of $42,180 for a bone stock Ford Mustang Bullitt GT. You can get a GT and do a heck of lot more to it for that much.
INSANE!
They had a $20K markup on the GT500, when they had it.

Doesnt surprise me.....U could probably get a GT and BUY all the Bullitt Accessories for much cheaper than it would cost to get the actual Bullitt[:'(]As you said.... If you're lucky, you could probably find a GT500 for the same.

Wow, markups on Bullitts and GT500s?? Dealer I just bought my 08GT from had two Bullits at sticker. Too bad they were black or I may have picked that up instead of mine[&o]Got my 08 for invoice.

Haha! I posted about this markeup over a month ago when I first saw Bullitts at 2 different lots. With the markup, they would run $42K +.

No one believed me though

There is nothing about the Bullitt that makes it 2.5X the price of mine. Not even the green...

was at the dealer on monday getting recall work done and they had a new bullitt in green, no markup, just sticker at like 34K. They also had a cobra gt500, but no sticker on it(I think the owner was driving it, had a dealer tag on it) and a used 2007 gt500 with 8,000 miles on it for 38k, to bad it was an automatic! I don't mind an auto in my v6, but in a gt500?????

I didn't know you could get an auto in the GT500...
Ford website doesn't list an auto as an option, only comes with the 6 speed manual tranny

Uh, I didn't either, so I asked the guy and he said "It's just a gt500, which you can get an auto in, its not a shelby, which only comes in a stick". I dunno, first one I ever saw with an auto.
