I dunno... I think it comes down to color choices. I know if I put stripes down mine, I would not put a blackout panel, but your color combination, it may look good.

Best thing to do is just stripe it all the way down, then hold the blackout panel in place and see how it looks. Do a comparison and post the comparison photos and we can give you feedback then

I think your car is one of the best-looking I've seen on this forum, so if I had the car I'd leave it alone. But, since you're asking for our opinions, I'd say if you're going to stripe it down the back, it would look best without the blackout panel. Like you said, it would look too "busy" - sometimes the best appearance mods are the ones you don't make...like so...

i personally have never been a fan of the blackout panels... id much rather have the stripes come all the way down the back of the trunk lid
perhaps because ur mustang is black and u like black cars lol??? ... cant really blackout something thats already black
