With the white stripe, I'd suggest one or the other. Boochy's red stang looks good with the black stripes and black panels. I think it'll be two busy going essentially tri-colors - red, white and black. But, if you're going to do anything with the bumper, I agree with the suggestion that you get a GT take off bumper first.

i personally have never been a fan of the blackout panels... id much rather have the stripes come all the way down the back of the trunk lid
perhaps because ur mustang is black and u like black cars lol??? ... cant really blackout something thats already black
haha.. true.. id never buy it for my car.. waste of moolah... but i dont really like it on other cars either... maybe white ones, and the occasional yellow, but i think the stripes all the way down would look better without it.

Although I thanked you for posting Hi-Def pictures of your blackout panel in the past, I think ALL striped down the back would look more "RETRO" .....therefore better. I never cared for blackout panels myself, honeycomb or otherwise. Blackouts look best on yellow and white stangs I think....when the contrast is needed.

Stripes all the way down the back looks best I think .....where most of the Honda drivers will see them. If you have an aftermarket chin spoiler.....ALL STRIPE IT....or NONE at all.

What's wrong with the Jet engine wing?
That's actually a mod? I thought a UFO crashed into that guy's trunk.

Wow! Thanks for the comments
It seems like 50/50. I'll do a comparison shot with and without the blackout panel (like Oddy said) and take pix and post 'em here!

I thought about the blackout panel on mine, but decided I wouldn't like it with the stripes. If I decide to ditch the stripes, I would add one, I like them, but with the stripes I think it looks to busy.

I thought it would look too busy as well after I stripped mine, but I put the blackout panel on, and I like the look better...

Of course, that's just my opinion.

add the spoiler and then leave your car alone, I think thats the best option here
I thought of that!
Or what if...
Leave the entire back stripeless with the addition of the new spoiler (leaving the blackout panel) but keep the stripes on the roof and hood?

I think your car is one of the best-looking I've seen on this forum, so if I had the car I'd leave it alone. But, since you're asking for our opinions, I'd say if you're going to stripe it down the back, it would look best without the blackout panel. Like you said, it would look too "busy" - sometimes the best appearance mods are the ones you don't make...like so...

You only saying that because we pretty much have the same car!
