about 6.75 inches. i can still make it up my rhino ramps with no issues so i think i should be okay on most curbs and driveways.

I think that is one of the nicest chin for the V6.
Some others look like an Abraham Lincoln beard, others look way too contrasting with the grill area.
Yours is almost a perfect extension of the front. Well done.

That looks really good. I love that front spoiler, I honestly thing it makes the front of of the 6ers look perfect.

Definitely agree with that. It's not over-aggressive- so it blends perfectly. Many other chin spoilers just don't flow with the car.
I'll be adding this one too.

thanks for the comments guys! i ended up paying 500 bucks for the whole project but i bought it pre-painted, so you might be able to get it cheaper if you know a good paint guy.

it took 2 hours because the screws that held the rubber air damn on wouldn't turn andi couldn't find my trim removal piece to pull them out. Then my bottle jack broke (i removed my front tires to when i screwed the back of the spoiler into the wheel well) and i couldnt get my car down - had to walk a few blocks to borrow one. [&:]it should be an easy install for anyone BUT me. i think i could do the whole thing again in a half hour or 45 mintues tops if things went well.

thanks! i am really happy with it!

it attaches just below the lower grill, so you should be able to have both. i don't know how far out the lower billet grill extends, but you should be fine. ill take some closer pics focusing on the lower grilland where the chin attaches when i get home if that will help.
