Default 4.10 gears and T-lok or Front/rear sway bar/lowering springs?

Which one will I be more satisfied with? I am leaning towards gears n tlok. But I want my car to handle better... But then again I also want that good feeling when I get on it. I think gears will make me more happy. What would you guys choose? Thanks in advanced .

Really depends on if you like going fast straight, or in the turns. I personally feel the cars gearing is spot on, I'm not drag racing. Itworks great for ME.I went with the sways for that "on rails" stable feeling in the turns, it didn't have when I bought it. Depends on whatYOU really want.

Wow, I just went through a big decision too. 3.73 gears + T-lok VS FRPP Duals VS GT Front/Steeda Rear Sways. I chose gears because that's what I want at the moment, more acceleration!

Do the gears now and the sways in a few months when you save some cash.

Couple questions, I don't mean to HJ the thread but how much is Tlok and where's the best place to buy it? Also how hard/expensive is the install? And here's the big one, why didn't all Mustangs come with Tlok standard from Ford?! Is there some downside I'm not aware of?

You can pick up a t-lok for under $200 not including gears. They are out there, v6mustangstuff comes to mind. No, the V6 doesn't come with a limited slip diff, or the option to get one installedfrom the factory(or at least when I bought mine, don't remember seeing it as an option on the ford vehicles site for 08). If you don't know what you are doing, DO NOT INSTALL IT YOURSELF. The rear end has to be"set up". Take it to shop and have it done right. You can go to the Ford Racing Parts site and look at the installation instructions for gear sets, it'll give you an idea of the complexity of the install.

I agree. I think gears/LSD are more fun than sways/springs (again, IMO)

I paid $700 for 3.73 gears, t-lok all hardware, labor, tax. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me.
