RE: Need HELP before its too late!
First.. the wobble. IF you car doesn't shake driving down the road, then there is no wobble.
Offset.. how much of a difference are we talking? If it is so small a difference, you could just be thinking its offset when its not.
Tire size.. You said it yourself, you didn't check the tire size before ordering, that is not their fault. Just check to make sure those tire sizes will work, they aren't that terribly off from what you wanted, and you said yourself they look good so it should be a non-issue.
Seems your only problem is the offset, just triple check the measuring on how far each side sticks out, and the best way to measure if it is the rim or the axle is by measure from your rotor to the hub of the rim.

RE: Need HELP before its too late!
I ordered the tires they recommended. They sent me the wrong tires on purpose because they ran out of the tires I had ordered. AM said the tires should be just fine.
The driver-side tire sticks out maybe half an inch more than the passenger side, or maybe an inch.
Even if the offset was that small of a difference....should it matter?

Um, check mod parts for correctness before
installing and then having problems......
No but all fun aside, someone will have to pay
and AM didnt mount or balance so they wont
eat the $$ paid locally. Did ya tell the place
that put em on that you wanted the 18x9 rims
to have the 255/45s on themand the 18x10
rims to have the 285/40s on them? If so, they
should have caught the mistake. What does the
tire shop work order say? 255/40 285/35 or
265/35 and 285/35 like you found out them to be?
The first thing I would have checked was the tire
sizes received from AM when they came in and not
wait until a friend says, hey its kinda bigger or wider
over here before finding out the problem. []

........
I am so GOD DAMN PISSED OFF right now. Not only at myself but at ****ing americanmuscle.com
On my invoice, it SHOWS I ordered NITTO Extreme Performance NT555 Tire (255/45-18) x2 and NITTO Extreme Performance NT555 (275/40-18).
So, I went outside just a moment ago to check my tires. Because I looked at website again and noticed different numbers....
And guess ****ing what? They sent me (265/35-18) x2 for the front and (285/35-18) x2 for the back. How did they manage to fit them on the rims I ordered? Not sure. But I just found out, because I was so stupid and anxious and trusting to the website, they I didn't realize the different tire sizes.
So now, I have to call them tomorrow so see what I can do. They will probably say, "It's on your car now, not our problem." And if they say anything like that, I'm never ordering from them ever again. God, I just hope these tire sizes will not **** up my car or rims or anything....
This mustang is stressful....

RE: Need HELP before its too late!
so I took them to Tire Kingdom and paid $20 to have them put it on for me.
Sorry, I misread. ADD here sometimes.
Still you should have checked the tires/rims
to your original purchase order when received
before paying someone ?Tire Kingdom? to put
them on your Stang. []
No one touches my Stang if I can help it.
And putting wheels on is so simple its
crazy to chance something going wrong
to have someone do something as simple
as that.
But I guess we all dont have a jack and a lug wrench [&:] [/color]
