RE: X-Charger #60 Arrived
Did you read the instruction manual before beginning the project?
On page 3 there's a parts list (you should have checked all parts against the list before beginning the assembly)... and a list of tools and supplies required.
It clearly states that a heat gun is required ... what's the suprise?

I'm very jealous of you guys. Gotta get me one of these X-Chargers. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay (item and shipping) and where did you get the item? I guess when I get mine installed, it will increase my 1005 rwhp to about 1500. Thanks, Jack.

Seriously, I'd like to know why you keep saying you have 1005 rwhp when you know you don't. Oh wait....I know the answer, it's because you are a T-R-O-L-L.

Get a heat gun. I had one and it worked great, but I couldn't imagine getting it hot enough with just a blow dryer. And be careful with the heat gun, I accidentally melted a hole in my carwash bucket when I set the gun down next to it wile the tip was still very hot.

Hey guys,
where would you recommend finding the silicon and thread sealers, silicone spray, and trim adhesive? Lowes/Sears vs an Auto store? Also what exactly is a crowe's foot wrench.I would guess to find this at Sears??
Thanks for the help

Seems to me that we have a few folks getting lulled into thinking anyone can install the X Charger. While this is true for the majority of Mustang owners, if you have NO mechanical back ground, if you have limited knowledge of hand tools and how to use them, do yourselfs a favor and PAY someone to install the X for you. You can seriously screw up your ride if you don't install this system correctly. Fuel leaks and electrical problems are just a few of the problems you can build into your ride if you don't have a mechanical background. Just a heads up to those that feel they can do it just because they have read a forum or two. And please don't take this the wrong way, the decision to install the X yourself is a personal choice and I actually respect those that step out of the box and try to DIY.
