Default sct x2 tuner q's

hey guys i got the sct x2 a while back and i noticed a hard shift with the tuner on from 3rd to 4th gear (i have a auto) i was reading up on mavericks post on his xcharger and he said the same thing about his. then he said he changed the tuner to fit the size of his tires, which i havent even done, or have anyidea on how to do.
my questions are:
how do you change the tire size in the tuner?
and can u change this only and nothing else?
i also have a vmp intake, should i put that in the tuner as well?
I really want to get rid of this hard shift...
thanks for the help in advance

I ordered VMP tuning. Around 1200 rpm, the carwasnoisy. When the car was slow down, there was thunking noise. Justin said no problem. He said that the noise around 1200 rpm was exhaust noise and thunking noise was due to the torq converter unlock. The two problems do not happen with stock tune. Ireturned back to stock and ordered Bama turn. I have not tried Bama tune because the gas in my car now is 87. If Bama tune has the same problem, I will say Good bye to all tunes.

When you install the tune, it will ask if you want to modify optional parameters.
Yes you do. You can change many things, including tire size andshift pressure.
Sounds like you want to reduce your 3-4 pressure. With my bama tune I changed my shift pressure to 1-2 +10%, 2-3 +15%, 3-4 & 4-5 +5%.
Sounds like you got the rims/tires and intake after you got the tuner. I would think your speedo is off and it could be running better. You can adjust for the intake, but I don't know how.

Hi! I ordered tunes with stock gear, no CAI ( stock air box) , stock tires. I did not change any parameters. Other than the two problems, the car runs better than I expected.

if you have an intake the smart thing to do is call justin and have him write you a tune for the intake....and you HAVE to tune the car for the intake
