Default What is the average HP gain for the FRPP dual exhaust set up?

I've received a lot of good feedback on the FRPP dual exhause set up for the 4.0 mustangs.

Does anyone know the avergae HP gain for the FRPP???

I was told that most dual exhausts on V6's are minimal HP gain, the bst HP gain seems to come from using an x-pipe which the FRPP comes with.

Thanks in advance!

I have the pypes dual set up with an x-pipe and street pro mufflers. This setup is pretty similar to the FRPP kit. I didn't really feel much of a gain with my dual exhaust. On the highway it felt like the car pulled justa little bitharder towards the top of its power band. My guess is around 5-7 rwhp gain.

HP gain is probably minimal but I brought it for looks and its made by Ford for the Mustang so EVERYTHING fit right the first time. Made with quality materials, easy to install and sounds great.

It's not very much, duels are mostly for looks on the 4.0 unless you are going with a SC or Turbo. Pretty much any extra hp you get from duels over a single, with a good muffler, no V6 stock hunk of junk will be negated but the extra weight of the system. Hope this helps.

I can't deny that I felt a difference on the highway. Other than that.. I felt no difference.

A little more low end torque with the X pipe and better exhaust gas scavenging
but unless its paired with a good CAI and a tune, its mostly a sound upgrade.
