BAMA: race, torq or performance.

BAMA: race, torq or performance.
I read at the BAMA web site. It says that torq is great for daily driver ( power band is focused from 1500 rpm to 3500 rpm). Performance is great for track ( power band is focused over 3000 rpm). BAMA does not recommend race tune for daily driver. I am using 91 performance tune from BAMA. It runs very good, but, I want my car runs stronger. From your experience, which 91 Bama tune do you recommend: Torq or Race tune? My car V6, auto. I use it for daily drive. I drive it mostly local, not much on freeway. Thanks.

RE: BAMA: race, torq or performance.
before my gear change, i was using torq for dd but after new gears, i've kept my race tune in. i get to the power band MUCH quicker now so the race tune is my 1st. torq is still great for city driving though.

Would you need to order a cutom race tune from BAMA for 4.10's, the C&L intake, duals, headers, t-lock and stripes? :P
Seriously though, would all you need to do is just change the gear ratio with a tuner? What about the intake?
Thread jacking :P

The Burble
I run the Race Tune from BAMA with the John Demolet CAI and I really love the sound of the race tune. It is unique from all of the other tunes, a deeper rumble. Of course I had to give up eating for a month to fill it with premium but there are always tradeoffs!

RE: The Burble
I have the 91 race and torque... but the race has soooo much more torque than the torque tune itself[&:] I dunno if I like the torque tune. Though I did go from the race tune, then the torque tune... when I should have tried the torque first just to see how much of a difference it had from the 87 tune. I probably just confused ya'll. lol
