Default 500 bucks to spend

alright so i have 500 bucsk to spend on stuff for my 05 V6. its silver with the sport appearnace black stripe on the outside. I am thinking to go for a silver and black thing by gettin 18 inch black torq thrusts, tinted windows, and the black middle fill in for the back insert or w/e you want to call it. Anybody have any other ideas? maybe a new muffler or air intake or something that will give me a couple more horses for under 500? i know i am taking money out for my rims and tires but this 500 is a gift certifcate for a shop so i need ideas. thanks

This isnt flashy, but I think its the best bang for the buck. 3.73s and a T-Lok. It will give you better traction and make that thing blast off the line like a rocket.

Get the T-Lok off ebay new for $175 shipped, the gears off ebay used for $75ish shipped, and find a local shop to install for $200-250ish.

Hey Lizardking, I like your prices, set of gears will cost around $150+, t-lock around $200+ shipping, and any decent garage around here that knows how to set up gears correctly is gonna cost around $700.00, so the way I see it, your gonna spend around a grand just to set up the rear with 3.73's, I'd wait til someone wrecks their GT and grab the 8.8 rear out of that.........just my opinion.

Tuner - Xcalibrator (I don't think the Predator works on the V6)
K&N High Flow Air Filter
New Muffler (would suggest Pypes ProV... sounds nice...)

Yes, I know those are pretty much my mods.. but if you don't count the N2O system, I'm right under $500

I'm going with gears/t-lock next...

THis isnt a performance idea but a real good piece. The G-TEch pro data acquisition system is just an awesome thing to have inside your new ride. It gives you h.p. and torque #'s as well as 1/4 mile and 0-60 times. Thats alot of info for only $290.00
