Default My New Mustang

Hey everyone,
I just purchased my very first Mustang about a month ago, I love it. I didn't get the GT, because of the gas expense, but I am somewhat regreting not getting the GT. I wil definitely wait till the new body style comes out for 2010 and upgrade to a GT model. Besides that, my Mustang looks awesome, I got it with the Appearance Package which makes the car look like a GT model, even has the same grill as the Shelby GT which gets lots of attention on the road. I am working on getting the exhaust and intake done so I can raise my horsepower, any recommendations?[/align]

Lookin' good!

But anyone that knows a Mustang can point out the differences.

Most people will say Brenspeed, Bama, or VMP. Personally, I will be going with the VMP and C&L deal once I pull the trigger. Best of luck to you!

Thanx,

Yeah, the hood scoop and side scoops came with the Appearance Package. I am working on getting an updated picture for more clarity, this picture was taken off the dealership lot beforeI purchased.

So far I upgraded the seats to leather, changed my stock antenna to a 8" shorty and tinted the windows.

I will post a more recent picture soon.

Here is a picture of the front end.

Thanks for everyones input.

Has anyone installed a chip on their Mustang? I want to because I heard it will increase my HP and be more gas efficient, but thenI have also heard that some people that have installed it will get the "check engine light" on, is this true?

our models dont use the chip method anymore. Instead what you get is a handheld tuner from either brands: SCT or Diablosport which can be purchased off of tuner's websites (bamachips, brenspeed, and vmp) along with your cold air intake. The tuner is plugged into your car underneath the steering wheel and dash and the tune is loaded to your cars computer to upgrade it from the stock tune. This upgrade will undoubtedly improve performance and will not warrant a check engine light.
