Default need help picking my next mod (pics)

i have a ton of exterior mods plus dual exhaust and subs. i am seriously considering lowering it or getting an intake/tuner/tune setup.

what would you guys reccomend for me ? money is a big factor.

with lowering im also worried about scraping coming in to my subterraniangarage on the undercarraige because the slope is very steep and also scraping in general.

and i have no idea where to start with intakes and tuners and tunes . does having dual exhaust matter when they make the tune? and who makes the tunes? it baffles me how that stuff works.

nice looking pony. get the intake and tune. as far as tunes go, having your duals wont matter; the only thing the tune would be adjusting for is the intake and if you wanted to run a higher grade of gasoline.

The 2 main tuners for our stangs are the x-cal and the diablosport preadator; you can either used the 'canned' tune (the ones that come on the tuner after you buy it) or use have an aftermarket tuning shop like vmp tuning or b a m a chips write the tune for you. installing a tune is easy as pie; plug the tuner in the obdII port and flash away. all the tuner is really doing is adjusting the spark & timing; nothing too complex.

most intakes are pretty similar, the C&L is pretty popular and you can get a package deal from b a m a. I have the steeda intake and im very pleased with it. IMO the tune matters a lot more than the intake.

Go with an SCT Xcal II tuner with tunes from B-a-m-a chips. Start with a performance and torque tune in the highest octane gas that is readily available in your area. ...around $600.00.....money well spent.

I would recommend others, but I have no experience with other tuners or other custom tunes, so I'm going with what I KNOW.

Others will tell you what tuners they use, and vendors they prefer.
