Painting rims
My dad is about to order some 18X9 Black bullit rims from American Muscle. he is giving me his old 17 inch gun metal grey bullits and i want to paint the spokes black and leave the edge chrome just like the new ones he is getting.
Is there much involved in this or is it just tape, prime, paint and go?
do i have to roughen up the surface or not?

RE: Painting rims
Not to trash you out but, I got the same rims as your stockers. Man, I hate those rims. You are so lucky to be trading out!!! You should try the silver rims for a while, you might like them!! I'm starting to think that the "black rim" thing might be getting a little old. See if you can get them chromed!!
