youve been a huge help man, thanks. what should i torque it to when its under load? and will i need a new drive shaft if i get an xcharger? ive heard our drive shafts are ****ty. and where can i find a pinion flange on the internet?

our driveshafts are heavy and noisy when you hit about 95-100, the 2005's had issues but anything from 06+ should have been fixed.

If you can afford one, then by all means get an upgraded driveshaft. Shave some rotational weight and throw in some extra strength - can't beat that!

I sent you a PM on where I ordered my pinion flange from.

You have to put an 03/04 Cobra Flange on the 8.8 and it will bolt right up to the V6 DS. You will need a puller to get it off ... and a TQ wrench to reinstall. It's about $40 for the flange. I swapped my 8.8 in the driveway ... wasn't difficult ... just heavy .... My 8 year old son helped with the jacking and manuevering while I lined it up and put it in.

thanks man! got anymore pics? and can you give me some tips and tricks to make it go easier? where can i get a puller? and where can i find a cobra flange? also, should i wait to do all of my suspension upgrades at the same time?
