will 08 GT rims fit my 05 V6
I know this shold be posted in the tire and rim section (already is) but I need a quick answer so I'm posting it here as well. The tire and wheel section doesn't get much action. Here is the deal; I know a guy who has a set of 5 spoke rims off an 08 GT just sitting in his garage. I might be able to get them for a good price. Does anybody know if they will fit on my 2005 V6? I've heard horror stories about turning stops and brake caliper brackets. There is another guy looking at them as well so I kinda need a quick reply

YES!The wheels will fit with no problem. As far as the wheel stops my GT wheels don't seem to rub at all so never needed to install . You would need caliper brackets only if you were installing GT brakes on a V6.

18" Fan blades, yes.
18" Flangeless Bullitts, no.
They require the GT brake caliper brackets
and GT rotors for proper spoke clearance.

Anyways, I just wanted to let everyone know; I found a set of 18.5 x 9 satin aluminim bullits off of an 08 GT. With the center caps and lugnuts (no tires)for.....$250......BRAND NEW!!!!IF YOU DON'T KNOW "CRAIGSLIST" GET TO KNOW IT!!!!!! People sell stuff on there really cheap. Sorry MF'ers, but craigslist prices BLOW AWAY Mustang forum prices on used parts. Actually, so do ebay prices most of the time. (sorry sellers)

It wasnt because they werent working out, I just wanted a new look..
They werent doing anything bad to the car as far as I could tell.. but I just decided to get a different set.
You could always go GT front brakes for pretty cheap to make the setup work.
