I didn't mind the tri-bar center caps, but opted to upgrade to spinners.

They justpull off until you install the anti-theft mod.

i've read about this cutsom anti-theft mod. doesnt it involve a correct diameter piece of PVC pipe inserted behind the cap?

Yes or a pocket door handle works also.
The rims must then be removed for spinner removal.

spinners are classic bubba - paint your wheels - it's a cheap way to make em look a lot better til you can get chrome or whatever you want
