V6 Suspension Worth It?

V6 Suspension Worth It?
In my sig. you will see most if not all of my performance mods. As mentioned before, I get 275 rwhp/ 301 rwtq.
I was driving down this long, empty stretch of road on my way back from work and put on WOT from a slow-roll start. When my cars shifted into second gear, I think, the tires skipped. But I have WIDE *** tires and there is a lot of extra weight on the car, like me and my 2 12's and spare tire.
All my suspension is stock. I don't even have anti-sway bars. So my question is, why did my tires skip? And is it worth upgrading the suspension on my V6?

Definitly worth it. I would get the FRPP handling kit. Besides you are running more power than your car has from the factory. Eventually I want to have gt 500 brakes on my car.

You do have a OEM front sway bar.
The rear sway bar only works while
cornering only. It wont help with wheel hop.
So the missing rear sway bar is not the source
of the wheel hop. I went to Roush rear springs
and shocks and my wheel hop went away.

yup, sounds like you need better dialed in suspension if you want to resolve the wheel hop/skip. worth it if it happens every time you punch it and it becomes a safety issue (lossof traction at high acceleration).

BMR Fabrication Anti Wheelhop PackageThe package includes the two most important items to keep your tires planted to the ground. Wheel hop can drastically reduce 60 foot times at the drag strip, and cause erratic handling on the street. This kit isdesigned for lowered Mustangs which are experiencing wheel hop or bad launches after lowering. The relocation brackets in the package help correct the rear end geometry. I think you should get some fixed LCA's and an adj. UCA. Brand doesn't really matter TOO much...but you will definately feel a difference. You really won't need the LCA relocation brackets unless you lower your car. You really don't need an adj. UCA, but incase you ever decide to lower your car it will be nice to have so you can fix your pinion angle.
You might also want to consider a GT take-off rear sway bar. They are pretty cheap and it will improve your driving feel.
