Default CAI/Tune Questions!

What is the best bang for your buck when it comes to CAI/Tuner packages. Seems like there are too many out there. I still want to get close'ish to the same gas milage but feel a difference! I have a V6 PP and plan on getting FFRP Duals next spring. Thanks in advance!

most of them are the same, performance wise. lot of people go with the bamachips package because of the price. i got the steeda intake because i liked the look, and i cna re-use it with my x-charger.

dont bother with the no-tune intakes like the k&n.

VMPTuning.com has a 4.0 V6 package for $479.00. An Xcal2 or Xcal3 and his VMPs own CAI. This package is the best bang for the buck you can find and I swear by it. You will also love the FRPP dual exhaust kit. Be warned that the next mod after these should be T-Lok.

I'm gonna check that out. it is a lot better deal than the 625 for the c&l and xcal from bama

+1 for the VMP Custom Package. great value & great performance. you won't get the C&L intake tube which while it is pretty won't add any performance - unless you add forced induction. put the saved money toward a GT take off muffler or a full dual exhaust kit. Oh and with any of the custom tune dealers mentioned you will should get your choice of 3 tunes so you can mix and match mileage, performance or a combo of both.
