Default Build My Exhaust

So after I sell my nitrous gear, I plan on using that money to get a new exhaust system.

Right now, I have a GT H pipe, with generic over axle pipes and GTA mufflers. It sounds nice, but I want something that will blow me away. I want some help in finding the best exhaust note possible, from the cats back. I won't do headers because the difference is negligible.

I understand that this is somewhat opinionated, but I still want some advice. I want the best overall system (no drone but still sounds loud).

Thanks for your help,

FM

^^^ With stock cats? What about midpipe and overaxle pipes?

So you have the GT H pipes already with generic over axle pipes with GTA's and you're not extremely satisfied with them? If you're looking for a differnet sound I think the mufflers are the only thing you should switch out. There aren't many options for us with mufflers with no drone but are still loud. I think GTA's are a pretty good choice regarding no drone with decent loudness. You may also want to consider Corsas if money isn't an issue. I had SLP's on before.. pretty damn loud but no drone. Here's a couple clips: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exY4F...eature=related

You're the first person I've seen on the forums that wasn't 100% satisfied with the GTA's.. but good luck with your choice.

Ya, idk, its pretty good, but I want something better, if it exists.

I like the look of the GTA's a lot, and they sound fairly nice, but I want that extra something that will make it amazing.

So far no advice besides muffler swap?

I think a corsa axle back swap will be enough... everyone raves about the no drone yet aggressive sound

Corsa part #14313... Only bad thing about it... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$[:-]

I'll vote Corsa too.

I'm currently running Corsas, connected through JBA Shorty headers and a GT "H" (tried an "X" first. Sound was still good, but the "H" is definitely better)

Sound is awesome. Nice but law enforcement friendly at lower speeds, Open up good and strong when you punch it, and zero drone.....ever.
