Use goo gone to get rid of any adhesive residue...

while were on the subject, do either of you guys know a cheap yet effective way to plug the holes on the trunk lid after removing the spoiler

Cheap and effective means plastic plugs available at the local hardware store.
Its been done. Looks good on a black stang but dont know aout a white stang.

i dont know, i think it would accent my rims and black trim nicely... im just unsure about if it will actually keep water out. its a pain in the *** washing/waxing with the spoiler anyway, i wouldnt mind the look of 2 black plugs.

There would actually be 4 black plugs. Two per side.
ASMALL BEADof silicone under the heads of the plugs before inserting
or apply sealer on the plugs form the underside.
