Tried the Search =/

So , I'm cleaning the inside of the car today. I'm scrubbing really good down on the bottom where my feet and others feet leave scuff marks and stuff. I unknowingly press the fuel reset button down by the hood popping lever. What'd I do lol? Anything I should be aware of and what purpose would I have/need for the fuel reset button?

you didn't do anything. Read you owners manual..

When in an accident it gets shut off or when some jackass hits your car hard enough on the side it will shut it off. Its an inertia/impact/shock sensor or something like that

If you know anyone with a ford taurus hit the passenger side rear quarter panel as hard as you can with out denting it and it will shut theres off...

yea i 2nd the taurus thing...couple years ago me and my friends were bout to fight some ppl and it turned out to be 30 against 3 and they had weapons so my driver drove off and one of the people hit the side of his car and it shut up the sensor and stopped us like 50 ft up the street but shortley came back on...haha that sucked
