how much are GT bumpers ?

I got my bumper and FRPP kit on this weekend. The bumper rivets SUCKED!!!
Got it from Brenspeed Stang Recycler...Wasn't the happiest with it...wouldn't ever order from them again.
The middle "strap" thats under the GT bumper....wasn't even there! That's the one u have to order the little fastner for... Good thing I paid 8 bucks for that! [:@] Some scratches and some paint was missing around the edges. I had do some touch up.
All in all...I'm happywith the look and sound. [sm=gears.gif]

It goes to show that you don't mix things...
Brenspeed is a great company for Hi-Po stuff, I wouldn't expect them to excel at anything else...
Like, I won't go to a body shop to have my Vortech installed.

I disagree with u pascal...A quality company is a quality company. ALL their products should be quality stuff...or don't let it roll out the door.

My luck on my stang has been pretty bad lately...
Thats usually how it is for me...I have to work at everything. Anything worth having is worth going thru the hassle.

This weekends progress...GT bumper, FRPP muffler kit, red mirror covers, red shock mount covers, and a red fuse box cover.
I also have the radiator cover and extentions but I'm not putting that on till the hood pin thingie gets fixed.
On backorder... a red plenum cover. .
Keepin' hubby busy on the installs
I let him drive it to the east side and back yesterday!!! ha ha

Hey pascal what do you mean by rivet poping with the drill. I have a V6 bumper and Im gonna put another V6 bumper on do I have to do the rivet poping.

i don't like the way the gt bumper looks. when i go dual i'm jsut gonna get a cutout in my bumper. i don't liek that raised lip on the gt bumper.

The shop is ordering a new hood pin kit with longer pins. (at my expense)
I asked what they were going to do about the crease/dent on the outside edge of the
plates and the guy said the owner would have to make that decision. Come to find out the owner wasn't going to be there the day I had the appt. So I had to switch it to the 19th.
They are most likely going to have to pay for a paintless dent repair guy to fix it. They are trying to convince me that the dents are coming out when they take the plates off....
I know that they aren't. I swear, if he tells me that.."it happens sometimes", or
"that's about all we can do" I'm gonna freak. [sm=badbadbad.gif] lol I'll let u know what happens after the appt.

I like the raised lip on the gt bumper. Makes it look SWEET! Also, the GT bumper cover
is taller and hides more of the mufflers. Matches the rockers on the side. Chin, rockers, and GT bumper cover are my favorite mods that I've done so far. JMO
